Full Journal pdf2016-04-13 House Journal Page 2297 SB 124 The following was read the second time: SENATE BILL NO. 124 "An Act extending the termination date of the Alaska Commission on Aging; and providing for an effective date." with the: Journal Page FIN RPT 6DP 5AM 2074 FN3: (S.FIN/DHS) 2074 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Kawasaki, Josephson, Tarr, Guttenberg, Tuck, Kito, and Spohnholz: Page 1, line 1, following "Aging;" (title amendment): Insert "relating to the Department of Health and Social Services; relating to staffing for the Alaska Commission on Aging;" Page 1, following line 6: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 2. AS 47.45.200 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: (f) The department shall provide sufficient staff and resources necessary to satisfy the requirements of AS 47.45.200 - 47.45.290." Renumber the following bill section accordingly. Representative Kawasaki moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Thompson objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Millett moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 124 be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. SB 124 was read the third time. The question being: "Shall SB 124 pass the House?"
